The heart of Nathalie Vleeschouwer's new summer collection beats to the rhythm of the vibrant South of France in the seventies: an era of creativity, change and a great desire for freedom.
To bring the summer collection to life, the Nathalie Vleeschouwer team went to Marseille ,
a vibrant coastal city that effortlessly combines the beauty of the French Riviera with a raw, urban energy.
A fascinating mix that Nathalie Vleeschouwer was happy to incorporate into this summer collection:
the clash between a dressy outfit with a casual touch provides that typical nonchalant je-ne-sais-quoi.
The base of the shoot was Hotel La Relève. With its colourful rooms and lively bistrot, the perfect embodiment of the atmosphere of SS24:
a nostalgic trip with a contemporary twist.
The summer collection captures the irrepressible dynamism and allure of this iconic coastal city.
The colors and textures seem to come straight from the streets of Marseille. Warm tomato red, clashing olive green and fuchsia.
But there are also natural, soft, sandy tones with hints of anthracite in the collection. Linen , the ultimate summer fabric, plays the leading role in the collection this season.
The diverse colors challenge you to create tone-on-tone looks or opt for bright colour blocking.
HAND: A COMPLIMENTARY CONTRAST
In keeping with good tradition, HAND offers a pure, casual line with a cool edge.
The new HAND line is characterized by two divergent influences that together form a coherent whole.
The airy linen also has a prominent place in HAND with light cargo trousers and flowing blazers .
The color palette is inspired by a sand-colored oasis with shades of beige, petrol blue, caramel and tangerine.
The signature denim pieces from the HAND line return, but with a twist.
The classic denim jacket gets a fresh reinterpretation with trumpet sleeves and elastic band for a voluminous effect .
The denim trousers also make a strong statement with wide rolled-up legs.
JUST THE BEGINNING
It is already a fact that Nathalie Vleeschouwer and her team's creativity knows no bounds. The Belgian brand is now a fully-fledged lifestyle brand . After the successful launches of lifestyle accessories such as the Nathalie Vleeschouwer slippers, sunglasses and the swimwear line last summer, you can count on a continuation and further expansion of the range this spring.
